Two (formerly) Blind Mice
Posted on December 6, 2015 in News

These precious peeps were blinded when mosquitoes stung their eyes. They were kept in a box until the eyes healed and they bonded completely during that time. Now free birds, Big Mouse carefully helps Mousette to survive. She is fragile and has developed “corkscrew neck” which causes her to have problems flying and getting onto her perch at night. The vet tells us that there is nothing to be done other than to give Mousette healthy food and lots of hugs. Neither of those is a problem.
