Stripe the House Chicken

Posted on November 1, 2016 in News

We saved this little girl when she was a day old.  She survived the foul pox and has become so attached to us that she spends most of the evening perched on a shoulder while we read.  She sleeps in her crate inside and is being gradually weaned to spend more time outside as a real chicken.  In the meantime we have had to teach her to eat, drink and act like a chicken.  She is by far the most affectionate pet we have ever had.  This is her two week old photo.stripe-drinking-cropped
