Spring is peep season and we have a bunch of new ones.  But Happy Feet is a first for us — she has one blue foot and one yellow.  Among the 20-30 new babies she will always be recognized for her special feet.  The drought is persisting and the chickens try their best to scratch for bugs and weeds but without a little help from the feed store they would not make it.  Feeding time is a complete zoo but well worth it to keep these chickens happy and healthy.  They enable us to farm organically and they also eat any household pests so no pesticide is ever used on this farm.
