Each of our babies has earned their name.  Little Lucky was not able to get out of her egg without our help so she identified me as her Mom as I was the first person she saw. The fact that she survived her first day at all made her name choice a natural.  She still prefers to be cuddled before bed and is content to be carried around all day as long as there is corn in her future.  Her beautiful grey streaked feathers are unique to our flock.
